Summer is in its fullness now. These sweltering July days which demand that we slow down. Getting out of the sun under Rhododendron State Park's canopy or cooling off with a dip in Laurel Lake. The work of Spring should be paying off now. With new vegetables to harvest in the garden each morning. And chickens pecking around the yard. It is the first day of pickup at the Community Supported Agriculture farm across the highway. A bushel basket of produce every Wednesday afternoon from now until November. There is much to look forward to in July.
